NSS wing of SCSVMV University organized a one day Campus Cleaning Program on 02.10.2015 at the University Campus under Swachh Bharat Mission. The NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. M. Sundarrajan delivered welcome address. The Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. V.S. Vishnu Potty delivered the presidential address and inaugurated the program. He explained the importance of cleanliness and the necessity for the same. Prof. Dr. G. Srinivasu, the Registrar of the University motivated the students to become self disciplined in making India as “Clean India”. The Vice Chancellor read the “Pledge of Cleanliness” and all the others read the pledge following him. Nearly 150 volunteers participated and cleaned the campus in groups. Faculty members were also participated in the program. NSS Programme Coordinator Dr. M. Sundarrajan, Programme Officers Mr. B. Muthukumaran, Mr. J.S. Shyam Mohan and Dr. K. Rajalakshmi carried out all the arrangements. Refreshments were given to all volunteers.
