BLOOD DONATION CAMP - 18.02.2014

Blood donation camp was organized by NSS wing of SCSVMV University on 18.02.2014 at SCSVMV campus, physics lab. Mr.M.Sundarrajan, NSS Programme coordinator welcomed the gathering. Vice-chancellor of SCSVMV Prof.Dr.V.S.Vishnu Potty inaugurated the blood donation camp and gave a special talk. Dr. E. Sasikala, Superintendant of Govt. Hospital, Kanchipuram addressed the gathering and explained the importance of blood donation. Out of two-hundred volunteers participated, twenty five volunteers were recognized for rare blood group and they donated their blood. NSS Programme Coordinator coordinated the activities with the Programme Officers Mr. B. Muthukumaran, Mr. J.S. Shyam Mohan and Mrs.K. Rajalakshmi. Refreshments were given to blood donors. The camp came to end by 2:00pm.
