STUDENTS EMPLOYABILITY DEVELOPMENT COURSE
 

       The inaugural session of Students Employability Development Course (SEDC) programme was held at Mechanical Seminar Hall on 7th July 2010. The SEDC programme is organised to give training to the Third Year BE & B.Tech students ( 2012 batch ) to equip themselves with the required skill sets that would ensure a good placement. The SEDC Programme is conducted by a Group of well qualified and trained professionals who regularly give training to students of various colleges and corporate houses. This groups has already trained our 2010 batch and 2011 batch students. The course is geared towards realizing the following objectives:-

  • To reiterate the fundamentals of verbal and quantitative ability and  sharpen the communication skills

  • To develop competence and flair for applying theory to practical problems

  • To train and enable the students in handling test situations through simulated practice test

  • To enable students to master the skill of presentations and opinion formation at the end of the course and also help them improve their general and technical awareness

  • To train the students on Group Discussion and Personal Interview techniques

The course will cover the following topics:-

  • Time Management

  • Communication Skills

  • Interview Handling

  • Group Discussions

  • Industry Expectation

  • C.V.Making

  • Group Personal Interview
