NATIONAL SEMINAR ON GRAPH THEORY, ALGORITHMS AND NETWORKS/SYSTEMS
PROGRAMME
The two day seminar will start with inauguration followed by a keynote address on the opening day. This will be followed by invited talks, discussions and presentation of contributed papers. The seminar will end on the second day with a summing up session followed by valedictory function.
THEME
Graph Theory and combinatorial optimization play a key role in the modeling, analysis and design of modern computer and communication networks/systems. Several major advances in graph theory and related algorithmic techniques have resulted in the course of efforts to solve challenging problems encountered in computer systems and telecommunications networks research. The main goal of this seminar is to provide a forum to students, faculty and researchers for interaction with leading experts in these areas. The seminar will feature invited talks from these experts on recent trends and help the interested participants identify appropriate topics to pursue further research

Call For Participation and Paper Presentation
Faculty, research scholars, people from industry and students are
encouraged to participate in the seminar to have the benefits of the
lectures given by experts. Those desirous of participating can
register online at www.kanchiuniv.ac.in.
Call for Papers
The Seminar will
provide an opportunity for interactive discussion with experts on
research in the areas of Graph Theory, Algorithms and Networks /
Systems. Original and unpublished work in the above topic is invited
for presentation. Extended abstract not exceeding 1000 words
bringing out the relevant aspects of the work should be forwarded to
the convener on or before June 29,2009. The authors will be
intimated of the acceptance of papers on or before July 5, 2009.
Extended abstracts and full papers may also be sent by email to cse@kanchiuniv.ac.in
on or before the deadline. Full papers prepared in word DOC/PDF on
A4 size paper not exceeding 3000 words ( 3 Hard copies and 1 softcopy
in CD) should reach the convener on or before July 12, 2009.
